Logan barely felt the kick to his gut. He grabbed Anaya's legs and swung her around, throwing her into the wall.

Anaya slammed against the wall hard she felt a snap and a crackle. The second sound being the one truly unexpected. She stood up and looked down at herself through a pair of beautifully slanted Asian eyes. Her Anglo-Saxon appearance was gone. She witnessed her skin change from a strong pale tone to a tanned light brown color. Anaya's eyes glowed with anger as she half snarled. It had to be more than obvious by now. The similarities screamed out her true lineage with a brightness rivaling the sun. "Have I satisfied your curiosity yet? Or do you plan to question me further?"
"I think the answer to my identity is a little obvious now."

The revelation finally hit him like a speeding Juggernaught: Anaya...was his daughter!
"Can't believe it took me this long to figure that out" Wolverine grumbled, "I'm getting old." He walked over to Anaya and offered a hand to help her up.

Anaya just quietly laughed. She had expected things would end up like this. "Don't feel too bad. Being your daughter means I know you well enough to last for a while. But don't worry, I was never able to hide anything from you for very long." She took his hand and sprung herself right up in her arms. "I know you're not really him yet, but... It's been a while. I had to wait for years before I actually had the power to break through the time barrier. For the majority of my life, you were in hiding. Living in service of "the ruler" kept me safe until then though." Anaya knew that this statement had to sound awful to him. But none the less it was the safest place for her to be. "Don't worry though, it wasn't that bad. I was more of an entertainer than anything." Though she was glad he knew, at the same time this would make things more difficult.

"Any idea who this 'ruler' is?" Logan asked, "might be able to create a better future if we prevent him from turning nasty?"

"Yes, but that you never get from me. Without him, it'll beat the other mutant who has his eyes on ruling the world. And the one he creates will be all be it the lesser of two evils, I would prefer to avoid both." Anaya wasn't sure how her father would take this. Though it would most likely be the way he took everything with her, reluctantly. "I know you just learned that I even exist, and it's going to be hard for you to hear this. But the only thing you can really do, is protect mom. You'll just have to accept the fact that I'll do ANYTHING, to prevent either of these futures, and that you can't get in my way." She knew there was no way her father was going to accept this. If three was anything 'The Worlverine' wouldn't do, that was 'just butt out.'

"Anaya, I don't 'butt out' when it comes to fightin' the forces of evil" Logan replied, "but I don't know that much about time travel aside from what I seen in the movies, so I'm gonna have to just take your word for it and not mess up the timeline. I'll protect your mother by default."

"Then let me explain something to you about me more specifically. I see every possible timeline at once, and it's really quite a headache when they multiply because of an unexpected variable. So try to just stay the course and act as if you don't know who I am. And keep in mind that if I do something, it's for a reason. So for the time being, you're just going to have to trust me." Anaya pulled away from her father knowing that she was asking him to do something that wasn't in his character. More so that her words would probably go unheeded for the most part. She just hoped that when it really mattered, that he'd let her do what she had to.

"I'll leave things be for the moment then" Logan replied, "but I got a question: how can you see every timeline and not go completely insane from the overwhelming amount of information running through your head?"
He knew what happened to Donna Noble in Doctor Who when she became half-Time Lord. The Doc had to erase her memories so she didn't die.

"Well here's the thing. I don't see each timeline all the way through at once. I just see my immediate actions, and how they'll affect things, then I can focus on one timeline individually and see the outcome. Like with all powers, it has it's flaws. Namely it doesn't always work. But ninety percent of the time I get on the right track." Anaya said explaining as best as she could how it worked for her.

"Wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey, got it" Logan replied, "don't know about you, but I could go for a good ol' all-American burger. We've got vegetarian stuff too, if you don't eat meat."

"Tempting offer, it's been a while since there were cows, let alone a variety of fruits or vegetables. But I better be getting back to the infirmary. They'll be out soon, and some of them around going to need some medical help right away." Not that they'd all be coming out in critical condition, but she knew that they'd need to have some things taken care of, before things could go back to business as usual.

"If you need me I'll be in the kitchen" Logan replied, "there are maps on the wall at each hallway junction, just incase you don't know where to go. I assume that his place is a burnt-out ruin in your time?"
He shut the danger room down and left.
